"Didier Deschamps (Marseille coach): “Against a good Lille side, we did some really good things. We didn’t manage to make the breakthrough in the first half but afterwards we scored two beautiful goals without conceding any. We’re capable of playing well at times and we did so on occasion in the first half as we made ourselves available and kept it simple. It was important for us to win tonight so as not to lose ground as we’ve got a run of tough games coming up. Our title chances don’t depend on us. It was satisfying to beat a Lille side that hadn’t lost away all season. They were missing players at the back but they are always dangerous going forward."
